Bringing my family home to West Virginia 16 years ago was the best decision of our lives. Two generations of my family left the state, and I’m proud to be the first to come home. Twenty years of Coast Guard service took me to many distant shores performing drug enforcement, migrant interdiction, and rescue operations, but the mountains of West Virginia were always calling.  When John Denver sang County Roads on the radio, it put a lump in my throat and a longing for Grandma's house that can only be understood by those who have experienced the incredible community here. People out of state ask “why West Virginia?”. If you have to ask, you just wouldn’t understand.

West Virginia has been moving forward in amazing ways when many claimed we were doomed to fail. We still have much to do, but I am immensely proud of the work that has been done. The people of West Virginia have strong conservative values, and I’m proud to stand alongside them. West Virginia was left gasping for air under years of liberal leadership, and conservatism has breathed new life into the state. I will stand strong as we build and grow. With an abundance of natural resources, both above and below the ground, West Virginia is poised to make a great comeback.

I would be honored to be the conservative representative for you in Charleston. West Virginia’s greatest resource is our people, and we deserve representation by capable, passionate, and ethical people who place West Virginians above all.
